CULTURED YOGURT - ORGANIC STYLE

Congratulations to one of our members, Josef Heinzle of St. Eugene, who is producing yogurt made with milk supplied by pipeline from his family's 20 cow Holstein herd. The Heinzle family are dedicated organic farmers. To produce an all-natural product they plan to use only natural ingredients such as fruit juice for flavouring. They also produce kefir and sour cream. Their products will be sold in half litre and one litre returnable glass containers which they consider to be environmentally desirable.

The Heinzles' processing plant is the first of its kind in Ontario and we wish them much success. Come and see it for yourself on the tour on July 9th!
