Join the Ecological Solutions Roundtable
The video "Organic Field Crops - Sharing the Experience" will be available in October from Canadian Organic Growers. This is a farmer to farmer educational video providing "how to" information for organic farmers and farmers interested in converting. It also provides a visual compliment to the "Organic Field Crop Handbook" showing how theory is translated into practice on the farm. Produced for COG by OMAF's Broadcast Services the video was filmed on the farms of Ted Zettel, Lawrence Andres, Gerry Poechman, Dave Reibling, Murray Manley and Murray Pronk during 1991 and 1992.
The video is a two volume set, each volume over 1 hour divided into sections - Volume 1: Introduction and Making the Transition, Soil Ecology, Crop Rotation. Volume 2: Weed Management, Composting, Marketing.
